Finally a win! And with reverse circumstances from last year...
Feel very bad for Button and Barrichello - the team really hurt them on both their pit stops....

Yeah, again the pace was not even close. They ran a 3 stop strategy and were still slow! I can't understand why Honda didn't choose to change JB's strategy on the 1st pitstop and go with a 2 stopper! That team is really lacking a mastermind like Jean Todt. Not to mention their pitstop's were horrendous today!
Good news for Ferrari. Although it wasn't pretty, Schumi showed they had the raw pace to contend. I wonder what the real reason for their sudden drop off was?

mention of honda, "the team" etc etc.
I think Gil de Ferran has got to go. Nicki's boy's hands appeared tied at the moment but i'm thinking he's thinking about Pro Drive too much these days anyways.
As much as I hate to say it, but DR would probably have the team farther at this point..
DR was a stickler for practicing pit stops back in his Benetton days and would certainly not have these guys so UN Focused..
the Honda pit crew appeared to have adopted that same benetton regiment under DR with BAR , but now with Gil, things like this are slipping and are very very costly

2005 really screwed them up. If you think about what happened last year and the previous race (Aus) I think you'll see the problem...
In a nut shell - 2005 they had to rejig the suspension to make the tires last all race, now this year they can change tires but they have trouble getting heat into them.
I think today they slightly damaged (for lack of a better word) the second set of tires today (too much heat)...

Honda Pit Stops
Sorry to say the Lollipop guy blew a podium finish for Jenson....I agree w/ ITR Racer, why not fill the thing to the brim & run to the finish? Rubens was out to lunch again, he let Alonso thru at the 1st corner.
Unfortunately, CBS has 2 more races (Spain & Monaco) & we have to hear Derek Daley say " Hold on to your Hollyhocks "
& " It's a Pressure Cooker " again & again.
