Bridgestone Admits Tires Weren't Consistent
The Bridgestone tyres Michael Schumacher used to win last Sunday's San Marino GP have been returned to Japan for analysis.
'Auto Motor Und Sport' reports that the tyre supplier, although victorious in the first competitive situation since October of 2004, was disappointed with Schumacher's tyre drop-off in the second stint at Imola.
''I cannot deny that the lap times were not as consistent as we had expected before the race,'' head of tyre development Hirohide Hamashima told the magazine.
