If I didn't know better I'd swear this was a Playstation arcade game with an old F1 V8 engine sound from the 60's dubed in .
That is no V6 engine I've ever heard; so until someone proves it I'm going to say

This is the Revolution shop NSX. 2300lbs, 3.0 ITBs, sequential gearbox, etc. Since then, I believe they bumped up displacement to 3.5L for 333.5rwhp.
It's an actual NSX with an actual V6.

The car appeared to not only have more power than most of the cars but also quite a bit more grip. I'm not sure what kind of racing that was but it was clearly a better car with (probably) a better driver. Some of the racing lines and cornering attitudes of the other cars were horrible!

How can you tell these things from such a short, 1 lap run? He was passing everyone so fast, it'd be very difficult to tell exactly what each car was doing, especially from the driver's viewpoint.
In the corners he was either catching up quickly or having to ease off the throttle to keep from getting too close to the car in front of him. That means he had a lot of grip, probably more than the others.
He also passed a few people on straighter sections, though the GTR seemed to have more power on the main straight, so it's hard to tell exactly how much power the car has. However, it does appear to be pretty powerful since he had very little trouble dispatching the few cars that held him up momentarily.
The very fact that he was passing people so fast indicates at least one of the following three things:
1. He's a much better driver.
2. The car has a lot more grip than the others.
3. The car has a lot more power than the others.
It's pretty simple....

When was the last time you heard an NSX? Or one with ITB's for that matter? Engines sound completely different once they have ITB's.
The real Deal:

Last I heard, the HART NSX runs a single large plenum w/ the ITBs. That plenum is going to charge the auditory characteristics of the intake sound.
Please post pics of the engine bay if possible!
