This is what I did in the rear of mine to just make it look a bit more finished. Doesn't cut down on sound at all but looks better than fully gutted.

That does look a lot better. Too bad I threw away those covers. :/

Looks like you zip tied the rear tray to the harness bar and trimmed it in a couple spots. That's basically what I did as well. Sound wise I'd say anything that covers the rear helps.

Did you keep the center console piece radiantm3? It can be retained with some creative mounting w/ the bulkhead bar gone. If there was one thing I'd put back it'd be the center console.

Looking good! I think my soft top will be coming out soon. Looking forward to dropping that extra weight.

I kept the center pieces, but I'm trying not to use any of that. I put a few sound deadening material in a few key places and most of the annoying noise is gone. I think the bare metal was just amplifying everything.

Harnesses are finally in! Will be nice to finally run my HANS device at the track again.

Also my J's Type S hood finally came in. It's extremely light. Seems a bit fragile though. I'll test fit it next week and decide if I want to keep it or not.

I definitely wouldn't trust the hood without some hood pins.
