That is just incorrect information on their site I would imagine. It is the same info as the 00-05 version. The DBW throttle body had a larger butterfly inlet and intake manifold opening of I am not mistaken.

Yep DBW had bigger throttle bodies and intake manifolds in stock form. Some good info on SOS's page.

You are correct. AP2 has bigger throttle valve opening of 64mm where as AP1 has 62mm.

Description from Toda for their AP2 throttle body

"Increasing the diameter of the throttle valve and combined with a tapered entrance help to increase the amount of air the engine can breathe, giving improved performance. Dimensions are 66.5mm up from 64mm for the throttle valve diameter and the tapered entrance starting at a diameter of 70mm."

and pic of their throttle body air flow.

With ASM throttle body, Toda manufactures them with a slight modification to their own product as requested by ASM. Below is the difference between ASM & Toda for AP1 throttle body. Tried to find AP2 diagram but couldn't.

And with the spacer, below pic explains their logic. I was almost sold at this idea but ended up porting the intake manifold instead to match the diameter of my Toda Throttle body.

Hope this helps.

Great build thread and fantastic video.

That said, please remove the toy from your rearview mirror. I can understand it's significance or sentimental value but it just doesn't belong there.

Didn't realise there was that many here? Come down by all means

The UK had quite a few the last time I visited there but shipping was the killer for me.

No someone in Australia had a proper dry carbon pre-preg OEM hardtop shell made. I want one of those.

LOL!

It's not a toy. It's a G-force meter. A lot of people have them

Had to go back up on the alignment rack to adjust rear camber in toe. Had a little too much dialed in last time and didn't meet the specs I asked for.

At -2.8, 6.4, -2.6, 1/16th total now. -2.6 was good but I lost some of the liveliness from the rear end in low speed stuff. Should retain the excellent rear grip but get back the low speed rotation with this I think.
