Hey guys,
Tracking down a vibration coming from I believe my rear end and have a sneaking suspicion it is the rear diff pinion nut loosening. I haven't had time to drop the prop shaft and check, but from what I understand, the only proper way to re-torque it would be by having it apart to set the initial resistance and then torquing the nut in increments? I'm not prepared to do that myself (if I could without opening the diff I would be ok). So if it turns out in my diagnosing that it is in-fact diff related, since Puddy isn't local, who the hell specializes in diffs?

Please help! Hopefully a simple re-torque would be fine and I'm not looking at a rebuild. Hopefully it is something else entirely.

Is it a vibration during acceleration or heavy acceleration? It could be an axle issue, feel free to shoot us a PM if you'd like to schedule an appointment to have it diagnosed.

contact Puddymod for both a new axle and a new diff. I did both, and love both. Agree with rogue to rule out axle first.
