Default Elda Engineering Rollbars

I'm thinking about ordering an Elda Engineering rollbar in late december or early january. If I can get a few people together, and have the bars delivered to my office, I can save a bunch on shipping and 7-10% off the bars.

They are $699 + ~$100 shipping normally, we can probably get them here for $670 shipped or something like that?

let me know if you're interested, kitwetzler@mindspring.com

I'm probably going to order through tech2motorsports.

I was thinking about picking one up but haven't decided yet. Are you planning to install it yourself or bring it to a shop?

Gonna install it myself. I've done a few bars in other cars before, figure it can't be THAt hard.

those cusco bars are the scariest pieces of crap I've ever see called a rollbar! I used to built teepees out of chopsticks and paper napkins that I'd sooner trust to protect my head with 2800lbs of s2000 on top.

I'm interested, however I'm worried about head clearance (I can't lose any clicks on the recline). Anyone in the bay area with one installed, preferably with a lower/aftermarket seat?
