The more common posts are when dealerships or shops screw up, I'd like to relay a good experience I had with Hopkins Honda in Sunnyvale recently.
Either when we got the supercharger installed, or the day after to get the hood adjusted, (both at Hopkins) there was some minor damage done to the front of car. I didn't notice it until after I left Hopkins on a Friday. It was a small trench in the fender right below the hood, looked like someone left a rod on the fender and slammed the hood on it.
We took the car back a couple of days later and had the service manager look at it. With no fuss or muss, he said "fix it". We brought it in, was given a loaner car without asking for it (although it was a gutless wonder ) and a week later we have a fender that looks great! Although, the paint doesn't exactly match, it's pretty close. And so far no one has asked "What happened to your car?"
Another "thank you" goes out to whoever cleaned the inside and outside of the car, the back window is crystal clear, the wind screen was cleaned (had scratches on it), it looks great.
I would have gone into shock if they actually volunteered that there was damage done to the car under their care, but they took responsibility without a big hassle when it was brought to their attention.
They even tried to answer our questions as to how the body shop was going to/did fix it, but they really didn't know.
Thanks Hopkins for making what could've been a very frustrating experience, although not pleasant, at least as stress free as it could be.

More expensive than most, but I wanted the people who regularly service the car the only people to mod the car.
