Lol I'm sorry!!! Damn autocorrect!

Thanks for the heads up. I may wait til the next iPhone comes out but modifry plus proclip may be a good Xmas gift for the list this year.

Thanks again!
The Proclip part yes, not so sure about the iPhone part.

LOL thats a good pic.

I'm just a typical teacher. Almost every teacher at our school has an iPhone. Just a few androids and only one blackberry I know of, lol.

Use GPS built-into your phone, it is good enough. You're welcome.

So where do you put stuff you actually use?

I've been meaning to get one because I've just been using the belt clip on my phone to hook onto the modifry directly. Needless to say my method is not good for taking turns
Did you have one you liked?

Looks like a Proclip mount. I use a Proclip mount in my car as well.
Correct Proclip. Expensive but good product.

Yes it works.

No thanks. My tomtom rocks and doesn't require cell service.

Above or below would probably work. Don't want it to get ugly.

Thoughts?
When the bracket is mounted on the car and a gps is hooked on, are there any vibrations or will it be similar to when the gps is held onto by a suction cup. I'm considering getting one myself if there are very little to no vibrations

I haven't bit the bullet yet on buying an extension bracket because I have only one device for mounting.
I can't speak on behalf of actually using the extension bracket product.
I believe its a panavise product though.
I'll try to dig up the link.

I have the modifry ipod holder for my iphone and I absolutely love that thing. It doesn't get in the way for me, in fact it helps me more than when I had the cheap plastic one that covered my ventalation.

As for putting both in the same area though you will be super cluttered. You would be better off with one of those suction cup mounts for a gps. Or better yet, use your phone if its a smartphone.

Nothing that I can really see while driving. The TomTom I think a 4.5 or 5inch monster worked very well on there. Massive bumps, yeah it likely moved.

I might buy this and try it. I suspect it might all be a little much for the little modifry bracket.
