Re: Unregistering To Vote

Listen Up Julio:

Like an allah-loving resident of Guantanamo Bay who has been fed his own feces by a fraudulently recruited defender of american freedom, I give up. Take me off your list, fill out a form in triplicate, send me somewhere to stand in a never moving line, hire how ever many Halliburton contractors or illegal immigrants you need, just take me off the list of registered voters. I am not pretending to be a part of your rigged system any more.

There are only 2 flavors of turds that you serve during elections. I have come to realize that both Republicans and Democrats taste like crap to me. Therefore, like those violently democratized followers of Mohammed, I'm going to quit eating the crap you're shoveling. I am going on a voting strike. I want to unregister to vote and you are going to help me accomplish that.

Tell me where to go. Send me whatever form I need. Give me a number to call. Whatever action I need to take to remove my name as a registered voter of California, I will.

Fin.

P.S. Because of this, I will no longer have to pay taxes or obey stop light. Right?... Back to watching American Idol. Who do you think will win next? Julio or Hulio?

"If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal." Emma Goldman

"The Voting Rights Act of 1965 was indeed a vital instrument of democracy, ensuring the integrity and reliability of a democratic process that we as a Country hold so dear." Charles Rangel

"Democracy must be something more than two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner." James Bovard

"Voting is fundamental in our democracy. It has yielded enormous returns." Arlen Specter

"I am sure that every one of my colleagues - Democrat, Republican, and Independent - agrees with that statement. That in the voting booth, every one is equal." Barbara Boxer

"Majority rule only works if you're also considering individual rights. Because you can't have five wolves and one sheep voting on what to have for supper." Larry Flynt

"I think it's very clear that the American people are frustrated with this move toward socialism. And so whether you're back or white, if you believe that the conservative construct is in the best interest of our future, than you too would be voting with Republicans, and if you had the opportunity to run you'd join us as well." Tim Scott

"Voting is the foundational act that breathes life into the principle of the "consent of the governed." DeForest Soaries

"When Congress passed the Help America Vote Act in 2002, I was thrilled to learn that the federal government would offer resources to all states to assist them in enhancing the voting process in America." DeForest Soaris

"When public access to voting is impaired or when public confidence in voting is diluted, democracy suffers and our freedom is less secure." Deforest Soaris

"If voting changed anything, they'd abolish it." Ken Livingstone

"In many cases, the Treasury will get preferred or convertible preferred stock for the money it gives to banks. These shares typically don't have voting rights, possibly to give more of a hands-off appearance to the government." Jerry A. Webman

"The act of voting by ordinary Iraqis in the face of extreme danger confirms President Bush's belief that people around the globe, when given a chance, will choose liberty and democracy over enslavement and tyranny." John Ensign

"I think we need to start with Philadelphia and make sure that we actually get some election reform in Philadelphia. Actually, a recent election was thrown out by a federal judge because of corruption with the voting process in Philadelphia." Patrick McHenry

"It's not the voting that's democracy, it's the counting." Alfred Smith

I wonder why the word "Republic" isn't found in voting? Now for something fun.

"Everyone have a their own road to travel but we all will reach the same destination." Minh L.

I left a puzzle in one of those quotes. It starts with consent. Figure out what that means and the truth will set your mind free. Hint- every American should have the Bill of Rights and Constitution in their home.

My journey in this forum have come to an end. I'm moving on to find like minded people to help our country recover from what might come. I have two project which are in the beginning phrase. One of which is a private community project which will be a hub for local communities all over the nation. It will pool private monies for localities to build and repair what is needed. This is real voting with our monies. The other is to help setup a voluntary society system.

With all my heart, I wish you all the best of luck in whatever you do. And don't ever let anyone tell you can't do anything. We are our own leader and as leaders, we find solutions to problems. We don't sit around and wait for others to do it for us.

P.s. I'm just leaving this forum, I'm not leaving my friends I have here behind . If you need any help and you have my number, call or text me. See you all later.

I believe there is a politics section of s2ki but it probably doesn't get as much traffic as the Bay Area section.

Let me be more direct than I ever have been. Most respectfully so.

Mihn you're a hypocrite at your very core. This is pathetic. You're better than this.

1. Your letter to unregister to vote means you no longer have a say in the direction of the country/state you claim to love.
2. Your inability to have your ideas challenged by smart, well informed people means you don't have ideas worth listening to. All good ideas need vetting. All good ideas are challenged.
3. Like minded people may be here, however just because you say it doesn't mean I or anyone should believe it. I question EVERYTHING. Not once have you addressed my questions head on. Instead you challenge my 'knowledge' by asking a host of questions.
4. You're leaving just after being challenged to an open debate of your ideas on federal government. Cannot stand the heat so you leave the kitchen?
5. I don't think you love America as much as you say you do. Even during the founding of this great land the very ideals of how this nation would be formed were challenged. If you're a man of history or even just constitutional history you'll know we came very close to a different America on several occasions. Yet you cannot have your ideas questioned?
6. We don't live in a democracy - we live in a republic. It would be helpful if you stopped talking about it like it's a democracy and started using the proper terms less continue to be part of the bad information machine.

If you cannot stomach the idea of having your concepts challenged, you have no place setting policy or influencing others. What you're really looking for is a group of 'yes' people. Which is more of the group you claim to be so desperately distancing yourself with.

I know you. I've spent time with you. I think you're better than this. If you cannot stand having your ideas challenged, keep them to yourself. Posting on a public forum is again, hypocritical if you cannot stand to be challenged. You expect others to just take your word? Questions, direct and firm are to be 'too much for Mihn so he has to leave' and this is the type of person people like Casey think so highly of? Has the standard to which we hold people slipped so much that a firm challenge, a strong rebuke are thought too much, and yet undeveloped, small picture, no follow through ideas are praised.

I challenge you, and the people who think like you Mihn to stop complaining about America. I challenge you to identify her problems and to suggest solutions. Not once have you posted about a way to deal with large scale federal or state problems. Instead you've attacked the very people who protect you, allow for you to live in the top 3% of the wealthiest people in the world. When you do this, you attack and undermine America. How? By failing to provide solutions. Anyone can point and say that's wrong, but tell me how we do it better.

The world I live in requires problem ID, problem scope, SWOT, solution review, implementation of solution and review. The world I live in has my ability to address problems properly and successfully directly connected to my employees ability to put food on the tables. You're stuck in complaining mode and chest pounding screaming 'these are my rights.' And this very behavior of yours needs to changed. It's not fruitful.

Best of luck sir,

Rob

I still love Minh. Shared many great times with him. How he chooses to express himself really doesn't impact my view of this fine gentleman.
