OK so I decided to order a K&N filter.

Model: E2435

I hope its the right one! Will I need any special clamps installing this aftermarket filter? It does say drop in filter and direct bolt onto the stock OEM air filter arm.

I can't tell you if this is the correct part number. You will know when it comes because the correct one will have the same little "peg" on the end that your stock one has. The old one comes out by pulling the end with the peg on it, then you just pull it out of the intake tube. Installing is the reversed. No clamps required.

Thanks xviper for the tip. I should get it by Saturday. Fedex Ground from LA to the Bay Area.
