New Purchase Questions.
1 picked up my 2001 S2K at the weekend and have a few questions - sorry if these have been asked before.
When breaking in the engine - how realistic is waiting just 650 miles before opebing up to over 5.5k? I was told 500 miles by the dealer (who was great but knew nothing). Keeping it under 5.5k is killing me!
Does anyone recommend getting some kind of mesh for the grill/radiator area? It seems very exposed.
Recommendations on speakers and radars if possible.

welcome! definately wait 600 miles before vtec. some people have gotten grills, you will be more successful in finding answers by using the search feature of the board. cya around

Welcome, Andy. We're lucky to have an active group in the bay area with lots of enthusiasm. I agree- it is worth the peace of mind to break your car in properly(Vary speeds, no full throttle , stay below 5500rpm).
