Default Sliding in the rain

I had some fun on my drive to work today!

First, coming out of my street, I made a left hand turn to a newly paved road and I got a slight drift over the wet loose gravel

Fifteen minutes later, I was sitting at an uphill right hand turn metering light waiting for my turn. When the light changes to green, I give some light throttle and I get a nice rotation and slight power slide

I love the rain!

Not me...I was in the rain driving to work this morning. I experienced some drifting and sliding too...but it wasn't too fun because there was a lot of traffic around me.

top down at 830....on the group drive this weekend...when you said that it was raining at 11:00....half of us were driving top down....got some funny looks from some people on the road....didnt know if its because they think we're crazy or if its because we had so many crazy S owners...

hey gil, are your S-03's on their way out too?? how many miles?

mine are ready to be replaced with about 14k on them... back to s-02s...

saturday, I bailed on the group drive 'cause of the rain... for the next 15 miles I was putting my top up, and taking it down every few stop lights until I hit 101... talk about people looking at you funny....

I only have 3K miles on the S03s and I think they are a great all around tire. The first slide resulted from loose (and wet) gravel on a newly paved road. The second slide was a result of having too much steering input for the conditions. I was pointed uphill at the metering light (lots of weight on the back end, very little weight on the front end), with my steering wheel turned to the right. At that angle, my rear wanted to go "straight"
