How do you tell the difference, and what the heck is the difference?

the difference is very visible...the 1x1 weave looks very tight and clean...the 2x2 weave is the typical weave you see on most CF products. I guess you could say the 1x1 looks smaller compared to the 2x2.

I think it does. I like my cf to match perfectly in terms of which weave. But thats just me.
