CHECKIT! http://xmorsirius.com/programming.html

I have both. I personally like Sirius better. Look for an Alpine Sirius unit in the near future with built in tuner.

For the record I have 3 Sirius Subs and 1 XM sub.

You can listen Sirus online live for free for 3 days. Or if you have Dish Network look in the 6000 channel range.

There are now over 2 million subscribers of XM. I was torn between Sirius and XM and I went for the cheaper monthly and the smaller antennae. I bought the Roady the day it came out and I haven't looked back since. The one glaring difference between XM and Sirius, XM has live DJs, Sirius from my understanding is recorded.

Either way, once you go satellite radio, you won't go back. Its cool to drive up the state of California listening to the comedy station the whole way and not have any kind of drop off.

BTW I have no problem with reception mounting the antennae on the dash next to the A-pillar so it doesn't "uglify" the car.

I am happy with XM! I put the antty on the space between the trunk and the top (Ill post pics) and it doesnt look odd.
Its all about Top 20 on Ch 20, Kiss on 21, 73 (franks place), 80, 81 and 82 is your one stop source for underground/ dance and club music!
The premium service is cooooo too

I've got the Honda accessory XM unit. Given the choice between all the other stuff, including the CD changer, I seem to almost always have it set on XM. I may be wrong, but the frequency range reproduced through XM seems to be wider than a CD. The music just sounds fuller and has more punch.

I'd highly recommend XM. Forget all the commercials. It's well worth $10 a month to avoid all the stupid jewelry store and car dealer ads on the regular radio. Not to mention the poor reception I get on AM/FM anyway with the little rubber antenna.

Another vote for XM is that it is probably the most likely to survive long term if competition kills one of them. I know that several auto manufacturers are partial owners of XM, including Honda.

If you're setting up a home system you should just get Dish Network because the Sirius channels come in free with that satelite system. I have it with the two satelites and the HD reception is excellent.

- While I still think XM is the better choice(my impression is there is less talk on XM), I have Dish and the Sirius works very well and is included in the deal.

Thanks for the input guys, I'm going with XM Delphi Rodeo #2; 129.99 with is a wireless hookup to the car using FM modulation, no wires, no splicing. They are also givng away a free home kit, so this unit is for home/office/ and those long trips.

Thanks all!
