anyways.. i have an 04 s2k.. and it has about 6k miles on it.. sooo.. me and my friend were driving hard on surface streets late at night in his 350 and me in my s2k.. and then i shift from 1st.. to 2nd.. and around 6k rpm's.. there is a lag until 7k.. until i start moving again.. it never happened before.. and then shift from 2nd.. to 3rd.. there was a lil lag.. u can heard the engine hesitate for a sec.. and then it connects again.. again.. i would step on the gas.. and i wouldnt feel the pull.. and it would lag from 6k to about 7500 rpm's.. and then my car would then pick up and go..

anyone know what the problem is?? differentials?? clutch??

i broke my car in at about 1500 miles.. no hard driving or seen vtec untli 1500 miles.. never launched the car hard.. never took my launch pass 2k..

if its the clutch or differential.. anywhere local i can go to get that done??

hope your car was warmed uhmmm in 00-03s they have to have 3 temp bars... if your car was cold vtec wasn't engaged.. and u just hurt ur car

what i mean is.. when u shift from 1st to 2nd.. u will feel that pull.. but my car will just give a lil engine lag noise like ur revvin it.. and it would stay between the RPM's of 6k-7500.. and pick up again after 7500.. from 6k - 7500.. it just sounds like ur revvin the engine.. and it wont pull or do anything.. u get me??

oh geez. i know what you are talking about.. that happened to me a couple times last month.. but it just kind of went away. given that your car is soooo brand new, i would take it back to the dealer immediately.
do you get the feeling your car is about to die on you? that's how mine felt. i never figured it out though

well.. i dont know if this helps or not.. but.. it only happens after i drive for a while.. like.. when the car just warms up.. and i get my 0-60 in for the day.. that doesnt happen.. but after i drive it for like.. 10-20 mins.. it starts to happen and occur.. )=

errr.. weird.. took my car out today.. and tried to see if i had the same problem.. it fixed itself =I

i will take it out later to see if it happens again..
