Default Clutch release delay system

hmm ive had an issue with the clutch since i bought it.... used 15,000 miles turbo rev hard stage II.

I know honda designed a clutch release delay system....which i believe to be basically for morons who would dump the clutch and break parts. Not a bad idea except with my high horsepower turbo i think that when i quick shift and WOT its the main reason i smoke the hell outa the clutch. Any way to disable this function??? or rather minimize it as i would like it to do this but to a lesser degree. Spoon makes a "clutch cover" which looks like a pressure plate package 30% stiffer (would this solve my prob)....since i have a bit of an issue with a slippin clutch is it worn? or is it just too much horsepower? Anyone else have issues like this? I can make it slip in any gear up to about 4th gear but only when the cars screaming and the boost is max. And with just a slight clutch tap it'll rocket to redline.

i think this is just an issue with AP2 the AP1's don't have the clutch delay valve it can be removed with a little work.
hope this helps

Sounds like your clutch is slipping from the additional power rather than the delay valve.

well the delay helps the slip process initiate...it definatly has trouble holding it...once it starts to slip....it wont grab again till i let it hook up...i'd like to at least be engaged when i let the clutch out preventing this
