Clutch replacement
as most of you know, i just bought a 04' S2K with 30k miles.
I just took my car to a mechanic today to checkout the car.
The front brakes were out, so I had to replace it.
then he tells me, it needs a new clutch. i was kinda shocked to hear this because, the clutch feels "ok", it engages pretty good and doesn't feel like it slips at all.
im sure lot of members here have replaced clutches before. would you recommend to replace it with stock clutch or other brands like Exede, XTD clutches.
what's the right pricing to replace the clutch?
i found some "Exedy" clutches selling on ebay for around $300. is that a good price?
thanks

30k miles seems awfully early, are you abusing the clutch? How exactly do you drive? Are you launching the car a lot? Riding the clutch? Sounds like you need a second opinion. There are several Honda mechanics on this forum, perhaps you could pay them a visit. PM NSXNext1 is a common theme around here.
Or perhaps you can let a fellow S2k driver go for a ride with you and see if the clutch is slipping.
