Well, if any of you have been through USMC bootcamp, you drink tap water all day long - 13 weeks straight, many water bowls a day.
Tap water kept me alive for 13 weeks, so I'm okay with it... until I got out. ha!

all i know is that my dog loves tap water...
all different water stations have different contaminents in the water. Its never the same. most things found in water is not going to be found harmful amounts. there are a lot of elements that can be found like flouride(which is found also in toothpaste) in water. Flouride can promote better teeth but in large amounts can be deadly.
taste is a totally different story. alcohol doesnt taste good does it? i dont even think it smells good... but billions still drink it.. whats up with that?? haha dont flame me for my anti alcohol compaign!

Oh... and I drink brita filtered water from the tap. I don't filter it because I'm worried about how clean it is, I filter it because it tastes better that way. The chemicals they add and the distance it travels in the pipes adds a certain... flavor.
Same here. Actually, our dog is spoiled--she gets only Britta.

Name's Robert. Glad that matter fizzled away
We shared a difference of opinion and that's expected from 2 different people. I hope you didn't take things too personal as I was mostly debating your statements and not attacking you as a person. It's too easy to start a flame war with cuss words
Time to drink some Arrowhead water....filtered "spring" water

It depends on where in the country you are drinking the tap water....For example, NYC tap water has always rated high....LA tap water on the other hand does not...Outside of all the air pollution that the rain brings down with it, most tap water in the LA area is quite contaminated containing a high amount of carcinogens......
Does anyone rememner the movie "Erin Brochovich"???
I personally triple filter my water and keep it in polycarbonate water bottles....
