i cant believe i fell for fake concert tickets
UPDATE i have someone who hit me up selling the same exact tickets that i bought. i want to meet up with this guy and see if its the same dude. i dont care if its not, he has to be apart of some ring of guys selling fake tickets. these tickets are identical to the ones i had bought a few days ago. ASS WHOOPIN will ensue....
socal s2kers are more then welcome to join in on the ass whoopin. i hate scammers and now is the chance for payback.
so i was browsing craigslist for rock the bells tickets and landed on an ad for 4 vip tickets. i emailed him and he replied back asking for 400...i jumped on the deal. we met up in hollywood, saw the tickets and they looked legit. he gave me a whole story on how he worked for live nation and that he got the tickets for free. he seemed like a cool dude. anyways, i paid the man and i was off. i went today to go verify the tickets, and they came up fake.
i knew the deal was too good to be true.
be careful out there guys.
just wanted to vent...
o btw, if anyone in socal is looking for tickets and find a good deal. step back and make sure its legit.
Info on the dude: black guy about 5'7 skinny with a hawk. his number is supposedly 310 867 1450 and he says he lives in the valley. his posting says studio city.

That sucks that you ran into a dishonest person... I sold a pair of Madonna tickets for about $800 on Craigslist and a pair of Nelly Furtado tickets for 1.5x face value. Come to think of it, I don't think either buyer ever really questioned or asked why I was selling... There's some honest people out there selling legit tickets. Just gotta be cautious and if you're extra sketchy, try and meet up at the venue or something to verify the tickets.

I bought a set of tickets off craiglists a few years back, also turned out to be fake.
Anyway. found the guy and gave me a refund. He swore he didnt know they were fake.
