so the s2k is a garage queen and doesnt see much miles.

probably 200 miles a month or so

i changed the motor oil to mobil1 at 10k miles. its at 11.7k now.

i changed the oil back in sept 07.

i dont have much miles on this oil and was wondering how true is it to change the oil with time?

i remember back in the oil market bs days, 3k miles or 3 months.

will sitting oil still be cool?

I change my oil every 6 months. From what I've read, oil absorbs oxygen over time and loses viscosity--don't know if that's true or not, but I change it anyway.
