Thumbs down WUDAHAIL!?

So apparently one of my neighbors filed a complaint that I have too many auto accessories laying around my house. 3 Cops came along with a city worker or whatever the douche's job title is.

Wrote a list of crap I have to fix, now my moms trippin balls. HARD.

She said Im not allowed to have TOOLS?! WTF. She said when they came they said I had too many tools in my garage. The tires on the side of my house I can understand, and the engine I have laying on my yard yeah I can understand that too. And the 4-6 bumpers I have chillen on the side too. Thats not a problem. I can always move all that or sell them.

But my mom said the fool was btching about me having racks full of tools and thats not ALLOWED? WTF. Dude maybe only 15% of the tools I have are related to AUTO ONLY. WTF dude Wrenches can be used for any household use, allong with ratchets, drills, dremels, etc.

A cherry picker and a compressor is probly the biggest things I have in my garage...but theres no reason or rule that states I can have one WTF!!!!

sigh. Anyone go thorugh this crap before?
Maybe Its b/c I have my MR2 on jack stands and its torn apart, but dude that is total BS.

What city? My friend got warned in Irvine a several times before he actually had to do anything. If you live with the parents, then you are pretty much under their rules though.

hahah I wont be seeing my tools after they get into your garage lol.

Well my parents are 100% fine with it. Its just now they think its completely illegal to have so much stuff like that in my house. Dont get it. Theyre only ticked cuz the city is being retarded.

And if I knew which neighbor it was, Id file a complaint so severe Id have LAPD there ASAP. But i dont

If it's the front yard, you may have to remove any unsightly items,
but other than that, unless it's an illegal substance, or item, you
can have as much crap as you want. They should never have
even been allowed in the garage in the first place.

If you have to deal with your mom... well that's a different
story.

Yeah, Irvine they'll bust you if one of your trees has flowers
the wrong shade of magenta. Forget about having spare
parts sitting out.

Good luck!

I wonder if they think you are operating a business out of your garage like auto repair?
That would be an issue for the city I would guess.
Otherwise, seems like you could clean up the yard and tidy up the garage (so that's it's not a fire hazard) and live the life of the free.

I would complain too if my neighbor had a wrecking yard on his lawn. Did you realistically think no one would complain?

Well none of the stuff is visible from the front of the house if u drove by, EXCEPT the engine I have sitting under a tree on the front lawn LOL. So thats a must in terms of things I need to take care. I forgot i have an attic, so my 40+ tires are going there. So are my bumpers.

I did think at first the fools thought I was running a business outta my garage cuz I know theyll make u get a license for that. The 2 rules I was aware of were:

1.) As long as ur not running a business and making profit(tax issues).
2.) As long as ur not disturbing ur neighbors.

And I didnt touch my MR2 for almost 3 weeks when this took place. They jsut randomly showed up at my house when my parents were home and I wasnt. Freakn rats
