Thank you so much guys! I just contacted the local nissan dealer. they have a base model 350Z, 6 spd manual 2004, he said he'll give it to me for MSRP. It should be a good deal huh?

My thoughts as well. 350Z is not moving that fast, should be able to get a decent deal on one.
My suggestion would be look for Internet special or go through fleet. My wife and I are Costco members and got her a G35 sedan when they were RED HOT for $900 over invoice... FYI, G35 is a SUPER NICE CAR, but you have to get one pretty stripped down to keep it below $30K...
Might also look at IS300 or new V6 Accord, as both manufacturers are ready to deal on these models...
We got a deal 200 below MSRP. I mean 200 off versus 500 off I don't feel screwed. even 700 off. but if they are going for invoice and I'm paying retail for it then I'll be pissed. I'm in car sales too and they gave us perfect service. they are handling the paperwork getting fed-ex to my gf's father so I'm not going to mouch them that much.
