most of this talk is related to acceleration...

dont forget that 400lb makes HUGE difference in braking and cornering!!!!

It makes a difference in feel, not necessarily in capability.

With enough rubber and proper suspension setup, you can get a heavy car to both turn and brake surprisingly well.

Yeah, but you can't do miracles and the weight adds a lot of expense if you want to go fast.

Feel is one thing; actual performance is another. We're discussing performance.

A Z can and will perform right with the S2000 in just about every regard (if both are stock) and will generally surpass it once modifications are allowed (way more rubber, so it should support better braking, plus a much easier engine to modify and lots of suspension and handling upgrades).
