Nice! BMW turbo! Now, Honda should do the same to its vehicles, besides that new SUV turbo.

Forced induction is the wave of the future. Good fuel economy at light load factors (i.e. just cruising around) and power on demand. It allows manufacturers to use a smaller displacement motor and still same or better power than bigger motors.

With computer ECU technology getting a whole lot more advanced, car companies can tune the turbo/blower parameters for better emissions, reliability, and durability.

That falling and crashing sound you hear is the E46 M3's residual value.

Looks like this car weighs ~80 lbs more than the e46 M3. I'd bet the next M3 will weigh ~100 lbs more than the 335i.

As sure as 2 + 2 = 4, M car > 3 series.

It's not all about the strait line. You guys know that. Just like if Honda were to come out with a turbo civic from the factory putting out 240 hp. You'd take that over Honda's flagship?

'Nuff said.

I wonder what Dinan or Jim Conforti will be able to do with this car when they start playing with the ecu!

I am sure there is untapped potential to be had for sure. Turbos always respond well to smartly planned modifications.

What I am wondering what tuner out there will be the first to throw a big ass single turbo on it (a la the last gen Supra) for some 9 second passes down the 1/4 mile LOL. You watch...you know someone is going to do it.
