The 458 is beautiful but this still does it for me:

That exhaust note too, but give me the 360CS with that fantastic wail that it produced

But yes the 458 is the most beautiful ferrari I have seen in awhile. (pics don't do them justice), but the exhaust note, while nice, is just too muted for me.

I saw a 458 parked in town the other day. Beautiful car. The wheels almost looked too big to me, but other then that....great looking car, imo.

430 is the best looking Ferrari ever in my opinion. 360 and 355 are very hot also. But I am not interested in 458 at all, it looks like something in a cartoon.

I saw a yellow 458 Italia travelling the opposite way while driving and was not impressed with the aesthetics at all. I dunno' what it is about the shape but it isn't my favorite Ferrari. The front portion reminds me of the "cab forward" car designs from Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth in the '90's.

I would dry hump it if I owned one, truly stunning automobile.

I'm glad that there's others who agree that the 360 was better looking than the F430! It wasn't til the Scuderia version came out that I really liked the F430 body style (even then there's still design elements that I'm not crazy about - aka the front end, oversized intake vents - but the lower profile and redesigned rear end help a lot)

I think the 458 looks better than the regular F430 personally.

i think it is absolutely hideous... not "ugly for a ferrari" ugly... but just ugly per se

my order of recent model ferraris:

430/550/575
360
california
456
612/599
458

below the california i dont think theyre all that desirable , just aesthetically speaking... id squeeze a bunch of porsches, lamborghinis, astons, etc ahead of the 612/599/458 pack

I love all the gens from the 355 to the 458 - they all have their strong and less strong aspects, trying to pick would be like naming my favorite son.

It's the headlight design that kill the 458 for me. Actually, I think it's those things above the actual headhlights themselves. I don't know what they are, Ferrari's answer to Audi's LEDs that surround the headlights? Whatever they are, they should do away with those and keep the main headlights. Then I think it would be a great car. Although the body panel fitment issues pointed out in an earlier post don't bode well for Ferrari's QC.
