Here's the question you can A. buy a new s2k for 32k with 3 year warranty or B. buy a 96 993 version 911 w/ say 26k miles excellent cond. records etc. for 40k with a 1 year certified Porsche warranty what would you do? And you have a 50k budget.

50k budget....save up 30k and get a viper....better yet save up 623k more and get an enzo.

Or you could spend 48k on blow and spend the other 2k on a very used celica. BTW I would highly recomend AGAINST doing this.

get the s2k and use the change to get a supercharger and go 911 hunting!

too much money in my opinion. I just looked at a 1999 996 with 36k miles for $42k. Keep looking.
