Default Anyone else "Screwed" by Allstate?

Got my new policy quote from Allstate. No tickets, claims, nada. The base policy went from $360. a year to $411. The only problem was that this year they added a $500.+ surcharge to make the new policy cost $900.+ When I asked WTF, they said "Your bike is a high risk!" They have put it in the same group as the R1, RC51, and other high performance bikes. Anybody else? State farm here I come.

I was in a car accident where I was the passenger in a car. We were at a complete stop on te freeway, and some lady in an SUV droper her cellphone and while she was reaching for it, she plowed into us at 45mph. I had 2 broken ribs, a concussion, and a bad neck injury.. she admitted fault to the police officer at the scene. All I asked for was 8000 dollars to cover my medical, lost wages plus 2k in suffering. Allstate dragged it through the courts for TWO AND A HALF YEARS. They made a painful experience twice as bad.

Not Allstate, but Nationwide...a $450/6 mos. quote (obtained as a precedent condition to buying the bike) changed to $657 once I got the bill. Needless to say, I'm pretty PO'd. BTW, my driving record is spotless, and I'm in their lowest of 7 risk tiers. Maybe I should have kept the SVS...

I had my house and cages(4) insured with Allstate and they wouldn't insure my bike?? And all I wanted was liability. Too, about two months ago they raised my rates big time on the stuff I did have insured with them so we switched to State Farm. Allstates excuse was all the floods in Houston caused everyones rates to go up.

I'm using McGraw for my motorcycle insurance. They insurance "recreational" vehicles. They also sponser motorcycle racing, so I support them. I pay $750 for a year with 2 points.
