I would think there is a very good chance since there are R and RS versions at least some time in their life cycle. Out of the German companies, styling wise, I think BMW is lost, MB is pretty good but I like Audi's exteriors best.
Anyone else see a little Aston flavor in the back of the A5.

when this first showed up on the boards, there was a link to an article that claimed the RS5 was a "virtual certainty".

I like it, but I think it could be prettier. I also suspect it will be overpriced (ever price a 4cyl A4? I got a moderately equipped A4 Avant 2.0T up to $37,500 easily with a lot of rather ordinary stuff still missing). I think the Nuvolari concept coupe may be prettier. And, I think Audi may have gotten too literal with its corporate face. They all look nearly identical from the front. A little more imagination from model to model may be nice. For this car, pricing will be critical. BMW has Audi solidly out-gunned with its reasonably priced 335i (which runs quicker than the S4, I believe), so this car shouldn't command too much of a premium over the A4 if it hopes to be a success, IMO.
