well my mother is looking to downsize her ford excursion to something alot smaller. she is looking for something along these lines:

15k max out the door
preferably a small SUV/crossover
2005 or newer model year
under 40k miles
relatively decent gas mileage

ive been looking at 05-07 escape's, the 07+ santa fe and a few others. any suggestions/recommendations? im looking to sell her truck privately since what shes been offered to trade in the truck is pathetic. Thanks for the help!

^subaru's really don't got that great of mpg, i mean for a 4 banger with much less than 200 horse 25-27 mpg freeway is not that great, i mean my 94 lude with 300,000 miles dyno'ed at about 192hp right after a good tune up and it got 32-35 on roadtrips.

the boxer design is like the rotory, its cool, can make pretty good power if modded, but sucks on the mpg.
