Good point....but lets not hate on the "engine." I cant stand when you let your foot off the gas fast and the engine bucks in some cars. Lets take the M6's engine. 500hp 384lb of torque and it redlines to 8250rpms. The car weighs 4000lb and its still trapping at 118mph. Yes, I know that gearing, electronics, etc. play into that as well. Part of me wants to believe if the engine was weak it would perform to such a degree.

BMW V10 vs. GM's LS V8s... so the GM V8 is lighter, just as powerful, sits lower, simpler, cheaper, just as if not more fuel efficient but the V10 wins...
Don't get me wrong, the v10 is quite badass, but I really don't like overengineering, point is to make more with less.
