I still say good riddance. Now all they need to do is get rid of the H2 and the wussy H3. How anyone drives an H3 with a straight face is beyond me.

[QUOTE=Lice Locket,May 13 2006, 10:44 AM] Teh s2k doesn't invade in other people's space when doing its "non-tasks," and the Hummer H1 at best does what a regular sedan can do in terms of practicality!

The hipocracy from the SUV haters is priceless.

So you are glad to be rid of a fat pig of an 8 mpg gas hog. I expect to hear the same chorus of cheers with the eventual deaths of the Porsche Carrera GT (12mpg combined), Lamborghini Murciellago (11 mpg comb.) and the Bugatti Veyron (10 mpg comb). Oh wait, but those are all PRACTICAL cars to the imported sports car loving snobs.

OK with you closet Sierra Clubbers if we just ban auto racing, starting with Formula One. Think of all the wasted fuel we would save. Not only the racing gas but all the fuel wasted flying cars and crew all over the planet.

The hipocracy boggles the mind.

I thought this was America. Land of the Free.

Oh wait! It still is, because you guys aren't in charge.

I told you I should have gotten an H1 alpha while I had a shot at it.

There are a lot more daily driven SUVs getting under 20 MPGs then there are exotics.

Anyway driving is a privilege not a right, so I don't see how the constitution protects that.

Also, I wouldn't want to ban SUVs by law, I'd just like to see more of them off the road through use of argument.

comparing SUVs to hyper-exotics is genius.

And pointing out the blatant moronic hipocracy of people who hate gas-guzzling SUVs while worshipping gas-guzzling exotics.

The people ragging on the H1, but defending super gas guzzling exotics need to rethink their argument. I would venture to say that there are more exotics sold than H1s. And I would also bet that 60% of H1s are used as business vehicles (for tour guides, etc). Dont let Arnold trick you into thinking that everyone just drives them around town to show off.
