Car of Steel?
I was young, don't remember...
I recently saw a magazine ad for a Nash-Healey (
), Pininfarina-style instead of Panelcraft-style, that said it was used as Clark Kent's car in the orignal Superman TV show. Anyone remember this? Nice car for a newspaper reporter in those days...
Only one I ever saw on film was in the original version of Sabrina, with William Holden at the wheel.

One of my favs.
I became interested when, as a Tiger owner, I started looking into all the other European cars that had American engines.. there are quite a few. The N-H is a unique litle footnote of automotive history (I like the styling of the early Panelcraft cars better).
Anyway, I know I watched Superman as a kid, just do not remember the car. Gee, no one has all the oroginal episodes on DVD? I should really pay more attention when I watch TV; there's some show on PBS, it looks really lame, but some couple drives around in a Bristol so sometimes I watch for a few minutes just to see the car.
(Oops! Instead of the "reply with quote", i hit "ignore", and I do not see a way to undo it, so I might never see any more of your posts. Well, it's been nice...
) [edit: fixed, that was easy!]
