Default Cayenne GTS

have any of you seen the new cayenne GTS commercial. Looks pretty sick, apparently it has a 6spd manual gear box. 4.8-liter V-8, 405-horsepower

I thought the idea of a 400hp 6-speed MT SUV was interesting til I saw (somewhere) it was starting at $70K.

After seeing the commercial I was REALLY interested. After seeing the base price ($70k) I couldn't really care less.

For that amount, I'll take an MDX (40k) and an S2000(30k).

thats what I have

M3 is less than that

GTR same cost

as much as we say the STi costs some money the GTS is the cost of a STi + C6 vette (OK).

i like the idea (6MT), i don't think the price is out of wack for a porsche

even if they could sell them @ $40k, but why would they do that if they can sell it @ $70k?

I know that the prestige of owning a P car comes with a hefty price....but $70k? Seems excessive.

I actually went and test-drove the base Cayenne V6 and was really let down. It was like a $50k version of my $12k first car, a 1994 Ford Explorer. No real power, no upgrades, just leather seats, a fresh new-car smell and a bright 'n shiny Porsche logo on the outside.

If I have to own an SUV, that would be it.
Wait, how much was that?
