Yeah - not that I'm well-versed on tracks but VIR seems lengthy and the numbers definitely are power-slanted vs. handling, at least this go-round.

Comparing a RWD car against an AWD car is always apples to oranges. The GTR has roughly double the contact patch for acceleration forces due to it's AWD..which comes with a weight penalty. You can't have it all

I never suggested it was a good value! It makes the M3 look like a helluva bargain!

Most of the comparisons have been putting the TT-RS, Cayman R, and 1M pretty close. I'm confused as to why there's such a disparity in lap times. Tires maybe?

Not too surprised about the ranking of the 1M. That seems to be one of the few BMWs that is less than the sum of its parts.

May have been a bit cold, meaning AWD cars would have an advantage (like the GT-R and TT-RS).
