Main problems are just window, speaker amps and climate controls...all easy and cheap fixes.
When my windows don't go up, or my climate control does not work, I don't consider these things minor problems. I own a 1993 Lexus LS400, I am accustomed to these little issues. They suck.

1K rpm too high in an S2000 and you have bent valves, 2k in an NSX and you might still be safe.
Ehh, while neither of us can prove that one out I have some serious doubts.

they just paid extra attention to assembling it by hand...
They don't assemble it by hand. The main difference between the NSX/S2000 assembly process and a Ford Countour is that Honda uses a movable jig instead of an assembly line. This has a direct correlation with the low volume of cars produced.

I don't see anyone bashing the Diablos....they lose against Zo6s in almost all the categories, and cost at least 4x more, but no flaming? please......
They are something neither the Z06 or NSX is -- exotic. What's more, Lamborghini now offers a car capable of competing in todays world. Honda gives us the same car warmed over and still outclassed, for a high price.

And why did you buy a Turbo Porsche?
A few reasons, I have already done the Z06 thing and the Porsche is fast and does everything well -- and has a back seat for the kid. The NSX on the other hand does nothing very well -- especially the pre 97 and current automatic cars. Their level of performance has become almost par for the course for 4 door family sedans.

That's why I mentioned used. Everyone seems to talk about used Z06s, but never used NSXs.

So basicaly you bought a car that's alot more expensive than the Z06 because it has rear seats? I thought they were pretty even in numbers...

And regarding the Diablo comment, of course its an exotic, but still, people buy it because they like it.

People buy the S2000s even though Miatas have been known to outhandle it, people continue to buy 360s when the GT (also might be considered an exotic, will chew one up) for much cheaper, people will buy NSX because many things, people will buy Porsche Turbos because of the reasons you did, people will buy the Zo6 over a Porsche, because of its looks....its all subjective.

To say a car is a bad investment is pretty broad...unless its an enzo or a mclaren, all cars bad investments.

Will I buy an NSX for $80K, hell no....but I wouldn't want a Turbo either because every grandma here has one. I'll say it again, just buy the friggin car you want. No need to prove why, or explain why....

which brings me to another point

Thats one of the main reasons I chose the S2000 OVER a camaro, mustang, or trans-am. Overall performance and fun factor.

I just feel that in the NSX vs Z06 comparison, the NSX doesnt really have a decided edge in ANY PERFORMANCE factor.
