Anyone know how much these went for brand new in 97'?
1997 MSRP - $23,100. (That's $30,743 in 2009 dollars.) $11k today is the equivalent of $8094 in 2007 dollars. So this one is worth 35% of what it once did, in a sense.
My impression is that would basically be impossible to find a stock ITR today.

^ ergonomics arent SO terrible if you swap the stock steering wheel with a deep dish omp wheel and use racing seats. but yeah, with the stock wheel and seats it's hard to get comfortable and heel and toe.
Anyone who would rather have an $11K S2K over an $11K ITR has never driven an ITR. So much more feel in the ITR chassis and steering, much more of a racing car than the S2K (even though it's slower).

You know tho, something just seems wrong with this to me. I've seen alot of people on the team-integra forum do "hype R"s where they basically take an RS frame which is identical to the Type R (no sunroof, etc) and buy a bunch of type R goodies and slap on it.
I guess if it does have matching numbers tho that kinda rules that out. But the shifter is the other thing that bothers me, Doesn't remind me of the Type R shift knob. But maybe I was just used to seeing the JDM or possibly later model Type R knobs.

Why the hell would you swap out the OEM ITR seats for S2k seats (even though he still "has" it).
And for the poster who said that he wouldn't get one because it is an "integra"
. An S2000 is just a Honda if you want to look at it that way too.

It has a thicker B-pillar, different (thinner) front glass, thicker metal in other places, various chassis stiffeners not to mention the additional spot welding all over the place.
The car really is fun to drive, despite the huge steering wheel, the need to reach forward to change the radio station and the wrong pair of wheels propelling you.
