drove the saturn sky today at lunch
i went to see the sky at lunch today. here is the quick down and dirty
i liked the following:
the exterior look
3 cup holders
4 front vents for the a/c
comfortable seats
driving experiance was 1/2 and 1/2
i disliked the following:
interior parts - too much plastic
practically no trunk
manual top
gas/brake pedal feel
driving experiance 1/2 and 1/2
all in all, i wouldn't give up the S2k for this unless they gave it to me for free and I would end up just selling it and getting a ctsc for the S. maybe when the new model sky comes out, maybe then it will be better but for now, all its got going for it is the new look. also, it was an auto that i drove since the dealer did not have any manuals in stock.

yes, i have to say the top and opening of the trunk was really ghey. so if you open the trunk and your by yourself, you'll have to go to the passenger side as well to push the latch that holds the top onto the trunk. i thought it was kinda of strange and there is too much walking involved. maybe i'm just spoiled by my S2k but again. so far i wouldn't trade it for anything we have on the market right now... in the same price range that is.
hehehe ofcourse id trade the s2k for an enzo who wouldn't?

i think they're pretty nice looking but the miata wins hands down on every level but looks...better engine, handling, fun-factor, weight, features, etc.
i'm not much of a minimalist but i do like manual tops better than power tops...our car is small enough where i don't really feel it is necessary. obviously on a mustang or sebring you need a power top.
