Default EVO's are multiplying

I thought the EVO VIII was going to be hard to find.
The dealer I drive by on my way to work has had a yellow one for about two weeks and now has a white one
They may have even more, those are just the ones parked in front of the dealership.
I haven't stopped to check them out but maybe they are just asking too much for them.
I know there is at least one dealer in the DFW area selling for MSRP.

Do you think looks has anything to do with it?

The wrx had a facelift after the first model year didn't it?
Even the 7 series, the technological powerhouse that it is, is getting a facelift.
Maybe ppl percieve the Evo to be just as ugly, though a great buy for the price, isn't worth buying.

I stopped by on my way home and they have 12 EVO's.
I know they have sold some but I don't know how many, the salesman just mentioned that their only black one was sold.
Most of the ones they had were yellow(yuck).
According to the salesman Mitsu is going to make 6500 of them.
They only had one with a sunroof and you guessed it, it was yellow.
They did have one white one...mmmmm
He said a blue one is comming in soon.
I didn't see any with the small wing, is that really an option?
They did tack on a $4000 market adjustment to the sticker even with all those cars.
Oh, well very cool cars, but I too think that some people are waiting for the STi.

i only had a choice of black with sunroof or silver without..... i wish white without a sunroof was an option, but I would have been calling all over and shopping around..... so silver it is.

so far, 80 miles... weeeee... nice little 4 door... basically everything you would expect.... turns quick, sticks to the road and cruises well at 100+ mph....

have not abused it yet....but in time...

The white one did look really sweet, with the CF wing.
I love the way the car looks, but I know if I get one I will be sleeping in it
How many miles to break it in?
I think I miss understood what the sales dood said.
I think he said 4000 miles but maybe he said for a thousnd miles?
4000 mile break-in
Scot, have you had a car long enough to put 4000 mile on one?

ya, 4000..ahaha.

they make you watch a stupid video...says 600 miles before you go over 5000rpm (i made it about 45 miles)...but I only went to 5500...

This thing is way more practical (obviously) than the S2000... I think I may take it to the track (i have a shitty hybrid civic for that, but..) just to see what kind of times compared to what I was running with the S2000 (road course, not dragstrip).

The sales dood mentioned the video.

If the EVO is as neutral as the WRX it would be a blast on a road course.
More power, more tires, more brakes than the WRX. woohoo
Can I drive it?
