I think you're going the right route. I would get something practical for college. A WRX would be great, lots of sport, and can seat 5, and cheap.

The G35 is very progressive in it's positives. The engine has a large amount of torque so you can punch it in any gear and get good acceleration, but it isn't on/off as the VTEC can be on the S2000 engine. No large surprises (even though the VTEC is not hugely noticeable (except maybe out of fast corner). The handling is progressive. You can take it farther into it's edge and you will fill it giving out. The S2000's handling (moreso 00-03') is razor sharp, but the bad part is that it can bite you if you pass it's performance envelope. It was not expressive on when you were passing it's/your capabilities. The 04' is quite a bit better on that.

What kind of numbers would I get from an 03 G35c 6-speed? I have hunted around G35driver.com but found a lot of disagreeing information. (0-60, 1/4)

Shift fast, and you'll hit 60 in the high fives, and clip the quarter mile in the low 14's at close to 100 mph.

Wouldn't it be better if you kept the useless comments out of it?

Ok heres the big one. I have been reading up on SC the g35s and have gotten ALL kinds of different numbers. Does anyone know what kind of numbers the sc really put down, and what kind of 1/4 it will put you at (include brand please)? I also read that even with sc, exahust and header would put you LOOSING power????? I know you need backpressure but wth?

go twin turbo 450hp to the rear wheels. this should help you achieve what you achieved with the s2k quickerer.
