On the other hand, 2012 GT-R: "hits 60 mph in 2.85 seconds, a figure we round up to 2.9. The quarter-mile mark comes and goes in a phenomenal 11.1 seconds…this is drag-car country. The biggest change to the car’s drivability on the track was a considerable improvement in steering feel and precision."

Hennessey will always be a crook in my eyes until he makes all the people that he screwed whole.

See? I knew there were so many Hennessey lovers. I couldn't care less about him; actually, I don't know much about him, just from internet rumors/stories. Some of his cars (Vipers, to name a few) are bad-ass though, albeit expensive.
Man, the '12 GT-R is turning into a proper supercar; lose a few hundred lbs and it'll be even more super. In this state, AWD is a huge plus too, because it's pretty much always wet.
Also interesting, but a very smart financial move for Nissan:

Nissan is introducing an interesting new program for GT-R customers where owners of 2009, 2010 and 2011 GT-Rs can get their cars upgraded to 2012 specs…sort of like upgrading the operating system of your PC from Vista to Windows 7. It’ll be interesting how many takers there are for this program; prices will vary depending on your car and which upgrades you choose.

HKS has a 600 hp kit & will soon have full production of an 800 hp kit. I trust HKS about 1000X more than I do Hennessey. He should go back to being a waiter at Benigens
