Huh? The el cheapo Mazda 2 weighs about 2350, and that's with a back seat and room for 4! Didn't read the latest link, but I think the S660's supposed to come in at well under 2000lbs, right? A 1.0L turbo should be able to move that light a car reasonably well, though obviously it wouldn't be fast by any means.

I don't think it's all that ugly. Certainly not a monstrosity like the new Civic Type R. Not sure how you're supposed to see out the back though!

The New MX-5 Miata is what, 2,300 lb? It looks better, and likely has more power, than this S660. Plus, rwd and a manual.
