This is like OnStar but for any vehicle as its not built in from the factory. There are several companies that offer similar solutions at similar price points as well.

Oh I know what it is, just didn't realize there was a market for it. And Verizon of all people / companies.

yeah me ether but there are doing ok with it. Verizon is also stretching the truth big time about its diagnostic capability. it also makes people fell safe having road side come to your gps location with out needing to no your location. although any phone can also do this.
