It's what I have always used as well. No problems.

I had a 91 Nissan truck and as anyone knows as these trucks age the lifters tend to click a little bit and one day after work a buddy of mine heard mine and asked what oil I was using and I told him Castrol . He told me at the next oil change to switch to Mobil 1 and when I did the lifter noise cleared up about 80 to 90 percent . Cool! I have a 95 Nissan truck now and Mobil is still oil of choice.
Now that I have a Subaru turbo also that seems to be picky on what kind of oil it likes a Subaru tuner does not recommend Mobil 1 in the Suburu and he says he has had several locked up STI motors because of it .
I am still running the Mobil in the S with no problems and no oil use. So Mobil 1 in everything except my Subaru which likes Valvoline Max Life 10w40 for summer and Motul 5w40 for winter.
From what I have read the Subaru issue is that it does not like the "Energy Conserving" oils that are popular today but are too thin for a turbo engine and has an oil usage issue . The thing I got out of it that Turbo engines need the ACEA A3 oils which are approved for turbo engines .
