RX7 then 996. Mini Cooper and WRXs aren't sports cars.

I don't think there has been a less reliable car than the FD RX-7 in the past 20 years. It was engineered to fail.

It saddens me that the most beautiful car to ever come out from the land of the rising sun (fd3s) was also one of it's most unreliable.

Out the box the FD is really bad. Fortunately, they're fairly easy/cheap to make into a reliable vehicle. A few mods (which also add power) will eliminate most if not all of the unreliability issues.

Needless to say, I still voted for it because I do not have any personal experience with any other of the choices.
