STi is fairly good looking (IMO) and a hatch (not a wagon since the rear window is on a slant not up and down) but it's just a matter of semantics (people would rather have a hatchback than a wagon).

Unfortunately I dont really have the money to go out and buy an 08, tho I would...that red one looks pretty nice

And I keep considering keeping my s2k, because I love it.. but then again I will be needing a down payment .

So this is what I have gotten so far... feel free to flame away...

Looks sti<s2k
Performance... pretty much sti=s2k
Practicality for every day sti>s2k
fun sti<s2k

STi big time.

Cobb AP (engine reflash) are going for 400 bucks these days - Stage 2 good for +50 HP and +80 FT/LBS of torque (according to Cobb)

Not to mention if you download the right software, you can get those power levels for free (open source tuning)

so strange how many people write that they sold their s2k for something they thought was better and regretted it. and people don't seem to learn from other people's mistakes.

if you need the extra space to carry people or costco toilet paper, then it makes sense.
One of the last pictures of my S are of my girlfriend crammed in the S w/ Costco TP on her lap. LOL. We had just got done test driving a STI before that pic was taken. I would post it if wasnit on my camera phone.

08 STi is an amazing car, but kinda pricy depending on how much you want to spend. If you're looking at an STi, I would go for the '06. Most Suby experts agree that '06 is one of, if not the, best year for STi so far.
Save for the 08 model, the 07 is the best STi. It has slightly different heads and a slightly different turbo. This leads to bigger gains when they're protuned.

Don't forget about the gearing in the 07's.
