Stock vs. stock, it would be pretty close. The Turbo will take the win from a dig due to AWD, but the GT3 would put up a good fight from a roll.

I'd also choose the GT3 over the Turbo. The GT3 is a more focused sports car while the Turbo is a jack-of-all-trades GT car.

Haven't been really active lately since I've been slammed.
I haven't even had the time to think about buying either, but I'm still partial to the NSX. I fully realize that it won't perform at the level a 996TT would, if I were basing my decision on performance alone, there'd be absolutely no contest.
Or a third option that I'm contemplating is just to save, and wait. I'm not a very patient person though. If I were to be in a Porsche, this would probably make me the happiest in the long run though, as I'd definitely want a 997.

And lol no I won't paint it pink. The pink S2000 is Mina's car, not mine.

I too still think about the NSX. Just drove a earlier one, and it sadly was dissapointing after the TT. Still looks wicked though.
My advice is to not drive a TT unless you think you'll end up that route.
And I'd stay away from the 996NA. Just too many issues with the rear main and crankshaft eccentricity in NA engine. Even the 997 for the first few years wasn't exempt from the problem which has crippled resale on the NA model, but made it affordable and attractive to the uninformed.

Didn't come across that about the early 997s, I thought it was just on the 996s. Thanks

I would go for the NSX. And you could always supercharge it without changing too much of the car's characteristics.

What are the interiors like on a 911 versus the NSX? Exterior looks are one thing, but since I drive my car from the inside the interior design is a huge deal. Also which one is better in traffic and city driving, very few cars are allowed to reach their potential on the road so absolute numbers can be meaningless.
996

NSX

The 996 interior looks extremely cheap and garish. The NSX interior still looks clean, and the seats are AMAZING. So comfortable. Wish I could stuff the NSX seats in my S2K.
can't tell if serious. both of those interiors look pretty avg. the nsx interior does nothing for me. the first time i drove an nsx it was the first higher hp rwd car I had ever driven. it impressed me. now it would bore me. it's all about experience and expectation.
