Did an internet search on the 335. 330HP, twin turbos...sweet. Bet that's gonna set you back a bit.

I told my wife to start planning to trade the S4 in the Spring....
She was like
NOoooo, I love my car.... I'm not ready to give it up yet.
But I emailed the local stealership to see what quotes they'd put out there, as I was planning on trading the Audi for 4 years of lease.
Here's his email reply. I personally feel like it's about as crooked and slimy as they come.
[QUOTE]Dear Ckit,
Here are the lease scenarios you requested

Ouch!!! They obviously don't appreciate originating prepaid leases!
I'd sell the S4 yourself, and get one of their $499/mo. leases (I believe that deal is over, but it s/b back).
Re: the iPod adapter, the car has an aux. input in the console, so why bother?

What was your reply to him?
When I told him I was going to buy a Toyota, he wistfully said, "Toyota, those are nice trucks...."
When I was calling a local Honda dealer for a MAP sensor, he quoted a number twice listed retail. I said, you know I have the retail prices here. Why are you charging twice list price? He was very quiet and when I told him I was going to order online at collegehillshonda.com or majestichonda.com for less than retail price.... he sighed and said, "that's what I'd do."
So for this poor sap, I really thought about roasting him. You can lease a new 911 for $200 more per month. But I'm sure he knows that he's in a slimy situation. I mean paying almost $1000 per month for a 3 class BMW and have nothing to show for it at the end? That's obscene.
Rather than a 36 month lease for $30k out of pocket, I'll probably pick up a used 335 next year for ~$35k, have full warranty for the remaining 36 months and essentially have a "free" car for $5k.
Oh well, it'll give a chance to see if there are major design flaws with the twin turbo.

I had the PIE aux in adapter to the OEM HU for the Honda.
I just upgraded the entire stereo system. The Pioneer HU with the integrated IPod hookup is one of my favorite things. I didn't think it would be a big deal. I didn't think it would make a difference. But it does. Not $685 worth, but a significant amount.
It's kind of like using the key to open your car or trunk. I never do it anymore. I use the buttons to unlock the door. It's not hard to open the lock with a key, but we're that lazy....
Having the Ipod always charged, immediately resuming the track without having to hit buttons to turn the Ipod on, being able to see the lists and tracks on the HU screen without having the Ipod anywhere in sight....
Fantastic.
I love it.
I'm chagrined to realize how much I value convenience. Heck, the next luxury car will probably have the keyless RF ignition key a la Infiniti, Lexus, and now BMW.
Do you know the salesguy who emailed you on those leases? If not, he's gonna give you a retail price on things until you show him that you know the market. It sucks I know. I had inquired about leases on several models when my old car was in the service department. Each time I got the standard pricing, one that I could get from the BMW website
ckit, i think he's confused with numbers.
not even a stupid/dumb/slimy salesperson would be that stupid to think that someone - in this day of the internet - would think those numbers were legit.
btw, why is the residual changing from $30,161 to $29,667??????
what you put down has nothing to do with residual....the car is worth what it's worth 3 years from now!!!!
if i lease the exact same car for 10K less, does it mean that MY 335 is worth less than YOUR 335?
no.....
are you sure you told him 335 and not 645???
