Ive been thinking about trading in my S4 for one also. I keep telling myself I need at least one 4-door to delay the inevitable.
I'm personally hoping for the 335xi sedan chipped to ~400hp as a stealth alternative to an RS4....

You are correct! Thanks for that education!

It was my poor assumption due to the recent switch to 40/60 bias and the nose-heavy handling.

But you are correct that the Torsen AWD is 50/50 static split on our S4 and then adjusts depending on conditions.
just to expand on that, what he said is correct regarding the Torsen system, but on the new B7's... the S4 is still a 50:50 split... its only the RS4 that got the 40:60 static split AWD...

if your building the BMW to spec in the spring... look into European Delivery

the automatic's are very good on BMW's... the 335's being the best... i have a 330Ci automatic, and no problems yet... but only 45,000 so far...

I'm not sure on the static torque split on the B7 S4.
Anyone have more info?
