Yeah the super stock and pro stock cars sound cool, but I get chills when I hear the top fuel cars firing up in the pits.

Same for an air show, the sound of the jet engines and smell of jet fuel add a lot to the excitement.

I've only been to one TF night as well. It was worth seeing once but like someone else said, once was enough for me.
I dont understand why they would have spark plugs if like they said, they sometimes get the "deiseling affect." Under that temperature and pressure I would imagine you are wayyyyyyy beyond the autoignition temperature of the fuel under that compression and a spark would not be necessary the entire run.
